STAN COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

At STAN, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive and respectful environment where users and creators can connect, collaborate and thrive. These Community Guidelines form an integral part of STAN’s Terms of Use and are binding on all users, creators and club administrators.

Failure to comply may result in content removal, temporary suspension or permanent account termination.

1. Respectful Behaviour

All users must treat others with dignity and respect.

Prohibited:

  • Harassment, bullying, stalking or intimidation
  • Hate speech, discriminatory or abusive behaviour
  • Threats, coercion or glorification of violence
  • Doxxing or sharing personal information of others

2. Content Standards

STAN is designed for users aged 13+.

Not Allowed:

  • Sexually explicit or NSFW material
  • Gambling, betting or incentivised manipulation
  • Content promoting self-harm, eating disorders or dangerous behaviour
  • Extremist, illegal or exploitative content
  • Misinformation intended to deceive or exploit

3. Platform Integrity

You must not compromise the platform.

Strictly prohibited:

  • Bots, automation, scraping or fake accounts
  • Artificially inflating engagement or rewards
  • Exploiting bugs or system loopholes
  • Spamming or flooding chats

4. Clubs & Creator Responsibility

Creators and club admins are responsible for ensuring compliance within their communities.

Creators must not:

  • Allow NSFW, gambling or harmful content
  • Offer cash or gifts in exchange for engagement
  • Mislead users through deceptive content
  • Abuse platform features for personal or financial gain

5. Reporting & Enforcement

You may report violations through in-app tools or by contacting contact@getstan.app.

STAN may take actions including:

  • Content removal
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent ban
  • Restriction of platform privileges

In the event that no response is received from the initial point of contact within the stipulated period, the matter may be escalated to nodal.officer@getstan.app. Escalations will be considered only where the prescribed grievance redressal process has been duly followed.

6. Appeals

You may appeal enforcement actions within 14 days by contacting contact@getstan.app. STAN reserves the right to make the final determination.

In the event that no response is received from the initial point of contact within the stipulated period, the matter may be escalated to nodal.officer@getstan.app. Escalations will be considered only where the prescribed grievance redressal process has been duly followed.

7. Updates

These Guidelines may be updated from time to time. Continued use of STAN constitutes acceptance of the updated Guidelines.

8. Copyright & Intellectual Property

You must not upload, stream, promote, monetise or distribute any content unless you:

  • own the content, or
  • hold valid licences or authorisations from the rightful owner.

This includes, without limitation: music, videos, anime, films, game footage, images or livestreams.

STAN may remove infringing content and suspend or permanently terminate accounts involved in repeated or serious copyright violations.
