Before Bigg Boss 17, Arun was "Achanak Bayanak Gaming" — a Hyderabadi YouTuber with 600K+ subscribers, a 2M+ Instagram following, and a hard-coded identity as one of South India's loudest gaming personalities. When Colors and JioCinema brought him into the Bigg Boss 17 house in 2023, the casting was a bet that a gamer could carry a mainstream reality audience. The bet paid off — he finished a Top 5 finalist.

What got under-credited at the time is how he stayed in the race for 105 days. While Arun was inside the Bigg Boss house with no phone access, his STAN moderators ran the floor outside. Led by his head mod, the team converted his STAN Club into a 24x7 campaign room: vote drives synced to JioCinema windows, daily clip drops cut from his gaming-era highlights to keep the original fanbase emotionally invested, region-specific calls for South Indian voter mobilisation, and real-time pushback against narrative attacks from rival fan clubs.

The mod did not just moderate — he ran an unpaid campaign as a paid job. STAN was the only platform where Arun's gaming community could be activated at scale around a non-gaming event. YouTube comments do not vote. Instagram followers do not mobilise. A STAN Club, with its clan structure and notification depth, does.

Coming out of the show, Arun emerged with a unified fanbase that no longer had to choose between his gaming side and his mainstream side. The economic spillover was visible in the team around him: editors handling clip pipelines across two content categories, a community manager handling brand DMs from non-endemic advertisers for the first time, and the mod who had been his floor general now on permanent retainer.

On STAN, my community didn't just watch me — they ran my whole Bigg Boss campaign while I was locked inside with no phone. That's not a fanbase, that's a team.
